Q: Greeting to you Joan! Could you brief us about Dara Pharmaceutical Equipment?

Joan Mele: Good Morning! To start with Dara Pharmaceutical Equipment is a Spanish Company with headquarters at Barcelona. We are backed with experience of more than 26 years in the field of Aseptic Filling Machines and Systems. We are well-known to spread the cutting-edge technology across the globe. Just to confirm this, I would like to stress that 97% of the machineries manufactured by us are for export purpose. Our major market lies in North America, Europe, and Asia – all in equal numbers.

Q: Being the Director of the European and Asian Market, we would like to know more about the technology used in your product machineries especially for the Asian market.

Joan Mele: Like, I mentioned before, we are deeply focused on Aseptic Filling Machines and Systems. These machineries play a vital role in the Aseptic Manufacturing process. Our machineries supplied in the Asian market, are used right from the washing process till the cupping process. We even have introduced machineries for the final assembling of devices like Washing, Sterilizing, Filling, Freezing, Drying, Loading & Unloading and Isolators. This makes us an extremely unique company which provides a fully integrated holistic solution. We manufacture automated process machines which produce 200 vials/injectables/products which are to be in a sterile condition.

Q: Also can you brief us about the future plans of Dara in the Indian Market?

Joan Mele: We have an experience of more than 20 years backing us. Along with the conventional Pharma machineries, we have now introduced a product range which is widely accepted in the Pharma Sector. We are investing a lot of our time, money, and resources for growing globally. We have organized for subsidiaries of Dara Pharma Equipment like – Dara Mexico, Dara Colombia, Dara North America, and Dara India. We have a manpower of 10 employees working under Dara India, who take care of the entire Asian market. We have even kept experienced technicians in Korea as well as Japan owing to the language barrier factor. We are on a continuous process of growing globally and getting to know our clients’ requirements on a better note.
