Japan-based Yusen Logistics to expand pharma logistics operations in 2023

Yusen Logistics has announced the opening of a new warehouse located in Shibayama-machi, Sambu-gun, Chiba – Narita Logistics Center No.2. In April 2023, the operation will be launched at Narita Healthcare Terminal in the facility.

Narita Logistics Center No.2 is located about a 10-minute drive from Narita International Airport. There are various temperature zones, and emergency power supplies are installed as a measure against BCP. The company plans to obtain AEO certification in the facility and also aims to obtain CLASS-A, the highest security standard certified by TAPA, for the safe management of cargo.

In April 2023, the company will open Narita Healthcare Terminal complied with GDP standards and will further expand pharmaceutical logistics operations, a total of 48 operation bases in 27 countries and regions around the world will comply with our global GDP standards. In Narita Healthcare Terminal, we will handle packing in the latest passive containers and we aim to expand the scope of CEIV Pharma certification so that we provide tailor-made logistics services with high global quality standards.
